Food:
Ascension has a school lunch program for students. Hot lunches may be purchased
from a menu provided each week. Milk may be purchased at a reduced rate.
Athletics: Wildcats Basketball
Health:
Screening for hearing, vision, and scoliosis is provided for students of Ascension School by Baltimore County. Health records are kept for all students. New students require an up-to-date immunization record before they enter Ascension.
Transportation:
Transportation is provided by the parents, who are encouraged to car pool. Public transportation is available 2 and 1/2 blocks from the school.
Guidance:
Ascension provides students with group and individual counseling services. The counselor may meet with students who experience loss of parents or loved ones, or who are experiencing other challenges in society today.
Daycare:
In addition to an all day Early Learning Center for two- and three-year-old children, Ascension offers a supervised program for school-aged students from 7:00am until school opens at 8:15, and from 3:00 until 6:00pm. A full-day summer program operates from the first day of summer vacation until the week before school opens. These three programs are licensed by the state.
